Phytochemical Analysis, Antioxidant, Antimicrobial Activities and GC-MS Profiling Of Drymaria Diandra Blume

چکیده
Drymaria diandra is used in Nepalese traditional medicine to treat various ailments. The hexane, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, methanol and 50% aqueous extracts of D. were prepared screened for the presence different classes phytochemicals. Methanol showed phenolics, flavonoids carbohydrates so their total contents estimated. highest amount phenolics found extract (190.58±2.21 mg GAE/g 69.25±7.91 CE/g respectively). sugar was (185.60±2.53 GE/g extract). Similarly, tested antibacterial activity against one gram negative bacteria, Escherichia coli positive bacteria Staphylococcus aureus. All good both with inhibition zone ranging from 10 -22 mm. free radical scavenging determined using DPPH radical. Both strong antioxidant (IC50 13.61 16.94 μg/ml GC-MS analysis hexane revealed more than 22 compounds.
